RHA stands for “resilient hyaluronic acid,” which is the active ingredient in dermal fillers. While your body naturally produces hyaluronic acid to keep your skin healthy and youthful, it produces less and less of it as you age. The RHA Collection replaces this lost volume and structure with a synthetic form of hyaluronic acid, which encourages moisture retention and smooths over facial wrinkles, lines, and folds in the process.
Similar to other injectables such as Sculptra, your injection session will only take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the specifics of your treatment area, and most patients find the process to be surprisingly comfortable. We’ll provide you with topical numbing if you prefer. Beyond some redness, bruising, and tenderness in the treatment site, you won’t have any significant recovery period or downtime and will be free to rejoin your daily routine as soon as your treatment is complete.
